A nice experience 12 Oct 2007 My mate Ian Musgrave, Astroblogger and expert in several fields of science, and his lovely family, are up visiting rellies in Queensland from the arid wasteland that is Adelaide. Since I live in a country where I can not have a trophy wife, were I so inclined, I can only weep. However, this urban dweller does live a reasonably short ride away from locations where people can watch migrating gray whales; one of which is used for the “official” census. We are also seeing an increase in blue whale sightings, probably because of climate change.
