A nice experience 12 Oct 2007 My mate Ian Musgrave, Astroblogger and expert in several fields of science, and his lovely family, are up visiting rellies in Queensland from the arid wasteland that is Adelaide. We all went on a bushwalk and while we were eating apples at the top of the cliff, we saw a couple of dolphins (bottlenose, I think), a mother and calf. Way cool… All you urban prisoners should be quite envious. Administrative Humor

I got a love kiss… Read More
Rest assured we are envious – except for Myers who’d simply deride your experience because it didn’t involve atheist squid….
We pay no attention to Mshzlkhst, because he is beneath our notice. We are not in the slightest envious of his high readership, beautiful wife and children, or tenured job. Or his comparative youth. Not at all.
Since I live in a country where I can not have a trophy wife, were I so inclined, I can only weep. However, this urban dweller does live a reasonably short ride away from locations where people can watch migrating gray whales; one of which is used for the “official” census. We are also seeing an increase in blue whale sightings, probably because of climate change.
