  1. They must have a pub.

      I’m at the pub ๐Ÿ™‚

My brother-in-law’s stuck on the other side – about 5 km. south of Toowoomba, looking south, heading for Tamworth.

    Trade bodies?

No internet, and yet you post on your blog. A festivus miracle!

My brother lives in Cairns. Apparently it’s a tad wet up there due to some depressed metereological phenomenon. Really ought to seed the clouds with prozac this time of year.

      The marvels of a 3G enabled iPhone…

So you claim to have no internet, all the while having a 3G internet enabled device? I think you’ll have no problems being accepted by the philosophers guild. It’s up there with Plantinga claiming that belief in God is basic, yet belief in Ahura Mazda, Lord Shiva, Wotan, etc is not. ๐Ÿ˜‰

          3G isn’t real internet! I couldn’t even get USENet.

The Bureau of Meteorology says the The Condamine will peak at Midnight. I think you should be able to proceed tomorrow after breakfast. The Condamine does not normally stay up very long at Warwick.

Warwick trivium, this is where Billy Hughes had a egg thrown at him when he tried to convince the largely Irish population that it would be a good idea to fight for the King in the Great War.

So that is the true meaning of ANZAC!

So, what’s it like this morning, John?

    • John S. Wilkins John S. Wilkins

Warwick is a dead loss. We’ve gone back down to Glen Inness to come on via Grafton.

      • Roger Lamb Roger Lamb

Yep, that’s what bro-in-law did in reverse (went to Grafton, to come to G.I.) – though I gather the road did open in the early afternoon (from Warwick to Toowoomba). #nottoknow

  6. Good luck! What are you doing up in Queensland?

I can’t tell from the photo how deep the water is.

  8. John Monfries John Monfries

Deep enough to stop even a large anthropoid ape. That’s deep…

(Unless the aquatic ape theory is correct)

    • He could always pass the time by going for a swim!
