The ecological equivalent of Evolving Thoughts

I have been casting my beadies over this blog, Oikos Blog, which looks to take a critical and philosophical eye to ecology. It appears to have some careful and deep critics on it, and what is more, at least one of them likes Evolving Thoughts. What better recommendation?

  1. Thanks for the shout-out! I’m sincerely flattered that a proper philosopher would find the Oikos Blog careful and deep. ;-)

Jeremy, I think you might now have to call the blog “Competong Thoughts”, or something similar

    • Proper philosopher? [Looks around] Where?

Thanks for the intro post below. I will be reading all the posts when I get time. Just read the r/K post and finally understand why I have always been uncomfortable about it (it is all in the interpretation of the variables, yes).

  3. Thanks, John. This is useful for me. I feel backwards that I didn’t know about it already.
